Grandpa Bunny Bunny is at it again!
This might be on my top 10 things that make me smile. Ever since I can remember my grandma saying to everyone "Grandpa Bunny Bunny is at it again" every time she saw a sunset. Grandpa bunny bunny is one of the Little Golden Book's and is somewhat hard to find. My aunt however came across Grandpa Bunny Bunny at a garage sale one day and bought it. She gave it to my dad and he has read it to me, my brother, and any other person who has came along into the Corley family. This book has so much meaning to us because of the story told by my wonderful Meme. Each time we see a sunset we think of Grandpa Bunny Bunny and the amazing person who showed us God's wonderful masterpiece.. Meme. She is up in heaven with Grandpa Bunny Bunny painting the sky for all of us to see her. We love and miss Meme very much but she has her ways of showing us she misses us too. If you ever come across this book buy it and share it to your children and friends. It is an amazing story and always brings warmth to all of our hearts.
O.K., even though I wrote about the very same thing, I am totally crying now. I truly so LOVE that story... one of my favorite memories!
ReplyDeleteHow funny you blogged about this! I just had a baby girl and am trying to collect all of my favorite childhood books for her...this is on the list...I dont remember anything really about the book..but only the sunset.
